As a qualified counsellor working in private practice, with NCPS accredition and registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), I abide by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

Through a combination of talking therapy and other modalities I will endeavour to help you explore issues you're struggling with in a safe, supportive and confidential space.

Taking the first step can sometimes feel slightly daunting especially if you are new to counselling so finding the right therapist for you is most important.

My aim is to support you when you are feeling 'stuck' or overwhelmed with lifes challenges. Helping you to unravel emotional difficulties and create a more fulfilling and rewarding life.

Alongside my work as a bereavement therapist, counselling can be beneficial when experiencing anxiety or depression, for family or relationship issues, feeling challenged at university, experiencing mid-life issues, feeling alone in the role as a Carer.

With a humanistic approach, respecting each person's story is unique, so to work with you in a way that best suits you.

Offering individual 1:1 counselling either face-to-face or online, my therapeutic practice aims to enhance your emotional well-being by gaining deeper self- understanding.

It can sometimes feel difficult to put into words exactly how one is feeling. Some clients find utilising creative ‘tools’ can be beneficial to help them explore their emotions.

This could be in the form of drawing, painting, photography or using clay, depending on preference .
